Astronaut a scarce and desirable example of early space exploration games. Illustrations show land installations like Goonhilly Down receiving station, as well as named capsules, rockets, and satellites. Reverse: rocket on its way to the moon. 44/44+ rules, plain white box, not original. The cards are in good VF condition with very few signs of use.

Biggles typical of the 1950s boys' hero this is a desirable Pepys game based on the books by W.E.Johns. An unusual set of cards in that half have blue backs and half have red backs. Most cards feature scenes from the stories in jungles and deserts etc. 44/44 + rules + box (slight d.). Cards VF with a few signs of use.

Belisha The forerunner of Round Britain this set has delightful cartoon style illustrations of a great many tourist towns in Great Britain along with salutary road lessons. Each card features a (now old) road sign. Actually intended for playing rummy the set has 52 cards and a joker, almost unused condition EF. The box has had the padded top removed. 52+J + rules + box (d).

Car Game, The One for the collectors of old automobiles this set contains illustrations by Barry Rowe of the desirable cars of the 1960s, a few vintage ones, and extras like the Railton Special and Donald Campbell's Bluebird. A good example. 44/44 + rules + box. Cards very good VF+, box has a few minor knocks.

Cinderella Not an easy game to find, another of the Pepys games from a Disney film. Bold colourful illustrations. Generally good VF with a few minor creases. The box has some damage and writing on it (see illustration). 44/44 + rules + box

Davy Crockett 'King of the Wild Frontier' another swashbuckling Pepys game based on the Walt Disney film of 1955 starring Fess Parker in the title role. original price on the box is 3/11. 44/44 + rules and box. Cards are in excellent condition. Scarce.

Express 1st edition with the fold out stations and the simpler illustrations. The reverse shows the Coronation Scot. Carriages, rolling stock and engines from SR GWR LMS and LNER. Cards and station are very good with very few signs of use, box is complete top flap re-attached, slight tear shown in picture. 44/44 + 4 stations + rules + box.

Express 2nd edition this second edition is completely revised and redrawn, the stations are now single cards rather than fold outs. The reverse (blue) shows the Flying Scotsman. Famous Five Julian, George, Dick, Anne and Timmy get caught up in more adventures from the Enid Blyton stories. This is a first edition, it was produced again 25 years later with redrawn cards. 44 + rules and box. The cards are good and clean with signs of use, minor creasing and chipping to the backs of some edges (see picture). Box has some damage as shown in the picture.

1970s Goal 2nd edition. With the corrected team colours for six of the teams (Leeds, Ipswich, Celtic, Liverpool, Leicester and Bristol Rovers.). The box front design has changed and the back states 2nd edition. 44 + rules + 1 'card formations' leaflet + box (selotaped but good). Good VF with a few very minor signs of use. £28
885 Pepys (Kum-Bak Sports)

1945 Jack of All Trades  originally published by Kum-Bak (who also published Kargo, the golf game) subsequently published by Pepys and possibly printed by them but without the Pepys name. The game features 13 'tradesmen' which as well as ordinary trades include soldier, burglar and navvy. Various implements of the trade are then collected. Complete 52/52 with rules leaflet and box. All good condition, the box without damage. £25

Kargo The original edition of this very popular card golf game. Copyright by Gaymes in 1931, published by Kum-Bak and then by Pepys. This original edition has no green grass on the cards which was added later. In excellent condition. 53/53 + rules + leaflet + box.

1940s Pinocchio from the Disney cartoon film. One of the very early productions, the cards having an unglazed grained surface similar to Snow White, Kargo etc. Complete set of 45 cards with the rules and box. The box is good and the cards are very good. An uncommon set in good condition. £28
