The game features 13 'tradesmen' which as well as ordinary trades include soldier, burglar and navvy. Various implements of the trade are then collected. Complete 52/52 with rules leaflet and box. 1910 | Brer Rabbit A good example of this very scarce American game based on the Brer Rabbit stories which were widely told amongst the Negro people and collected by Joel Chandler Harris in the 19th century. The rules cards states 'By permission of the publisher of Books for the Bairns, the illustrations in the book Brer Rabbit have been made use of in this game.' Complete set of 39/39 with the rules card and the original telescopic box in very good condition. Good VF and clean for its age. | £65 |

It comes with a set of tin trays, the rules, the box and a deck of 56 cards. The box has seen better days, the cards are used VF, the trays are extraordinary with some tarnishing around the edges. Altogether a most interesting Edwardian parlour game and I would think fairly scarce when complete like this one. | £30 |
