Orient Line to Australia A really lovely early double patience set of cards in outstanding condition. Not rare, but I haven't seen one as good as this before. 52+J and 52+J (44x67mm) with bright gold edges. Non-standard Ace of Spades for the Orient Line. Complete with special crested box, with advert inside, in excellent condition and gold edged 40 page booklet 'Some patience games' explained by HAH Carson printed by Waddington in 1924 with back page advert for Orient Line Mail Steamers. An excellent present for someone....

(The telescopic box has been neatly taped in the past with proper book tape and is complete, lack of pink surfacing to one end flap.) Unusual item.

1920 Pass & Joyce motor dealers a good advertising pack for this company with an illustration signed to AH Pass from Bruce Bairnsfather with a short verse from Old Bill, Bairnsfather's World War 1 soldier from the trenches. Pneumatic surfaced cards. There are faults shown in the illustration 6 cards are stained (5 illustrated) and one has a small tear (also shown) the others are with some creases but perfectly collectable. Rare and desirable.

British Airways History of Passenger Flight A sealed set in original box in mint condition, the box is entirely wrapped inside the seal. (The set contains 52 cards with illustrations of aircraft, 2 unusual jokers and 2 additional cards giving a list of all the illustrations and an order card). Illustration shows the sealed set over a sample of the cards.
