With regard to valuations I know that quite a few people use me as a free service before putting cards on ebay or selling them. I'll always give a rough estimate of what I think something is worth or whether it is scarce and collectable. I don't charge except for valuing a collection. It is unbelievably ill-mannered not to acknowledge information of that kind - you'd be surprised how many people don't bother.
